Sympatric Speciation
The formation of new species in populations that live in the same geographic area. Generally this occurs due to a group of offspring that cannot reproduce with the original species. This group can only reproduce within the new group and thus a new species can be formed as a result of the new group and their offspring. This speciation rarely occurs and mostly in plants
